Neuwied – Daniela Schick is the corporate social counselor at the WIEGEL Group’s Neuwied site – and a vital anchor in the everyday working lives of many employees. Her range of tasks is diverse: from individual counseling to organizing leisure activities, all the way to coaching for executives.

A key cooperation project is the Multigenerational House in Neuwied. There, Daniela Schick organizes courses for employees and their children – a valuable contribution to improving the balance between work and family life. “Our colleagues can not only take part in health or relaxation courses here, but also register their children for holiday programs. That provides real relief for parents,” explains Daniela Schick.

Company Reintegration Management (BEM)

But the support goes far beyond that: as part of the company’s reintegration management (BEM), she assists employees returning to work after a prolonged illness. She also provides guidance with applications for social benefits – competently, empathetically, and always solution-oriented. “Many people don’t know what they’re entitled to or how to correctly fill out the applications. Especially when there are language barriers, it’s important to provide targeted support and help connect them with the right points of contact,” explains Daniela Schick.

Workshops and Coaching

Another key focus: leadership development. In workshops and coaching sessions, Daniela Schick shares practical methods for empathetic and appreciative leadership at eye level. Through her work, she makes an important contribution to strengthening WIEGEL’s leadership culture – and plays a vital role in sustainably enhancing employee satisfaction and loyalty.
