TKS at the 10th Genthin Relay Run

Genthin – A running team from TKS, a subsidiary of the WIEGEL Group, took part in the 10th Genthin Relay Run held in the Genthin Volkspark. With a team of five employees, the company accepted the sporting challenge and achieved a strong 7th place finish.

Over the past years, the Genthin Relay Run has become a well-established sporting event in the region. Once again this year, numerous companies, clubs, institutions, and recreational athletes took the opportunity to get active together and demonstrate team spirit. The main race started at 6 p.m. and led participants along a 1,500-meter course through the Volkspark. Each relay team completed a total of five laps.

The TKS team impressed with a strong collective performance, commitment, and mutual support. In addition to the sporting competition, the shared experience was particularly important. Events such as the Genthin Relay Run offer a great opportunity to strengthen team cohesion outside of everyday working life.

The event was once again organized with an extensive supporting program. The relay race was evaluated in several categories, including female, male, and mixed teams, as well as student relay teams. Overall, the event once again demonstrated the high importance of community sporting events in the region.

The TKS running team would like to thank the organizers for the successful event and all participants for the fair and sporting competition. At the same time, we congratulate our team on their successful participation and the achieved 7th place.
