WIEGEL Trusetal celebrated its 30th anniversary on 27 September 2024. The site can look back on three decades as an indispensable partner in corrosion protection for small and large steel structures.
The celebrations were opened by plant manager Matthias Tonndorf with an introductory speech. Marko Hausmann, divisional managing director, and Alexander Hofmann, owner and board member of the WIEGEL Group, then honoured the successful development of the site and the group of companies. The Mayor of Brotterode-Trusetal, Kay Großmann, and the District Administrator of the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, Peggy Greiser, also emphasised the economic importance and positive development that WIEGEL Trusetal brings to the region in their speeches.
In addition to the official speeches, the focus of the event was on socialising. Customers, suppliers and employees enjoyed a generous buffet lunch, which created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. In addition to the stimulating discussions, visitors also had the opportunity to find out more about the hot-dip galvanising process at several stations. Of particular interest was the large, enclosed galvanising plant with its impressive zinc kettle and the small parts plant, which was available for an illustrative demonstration galvanising process. These insights promoted the exchange of ideas among the guests and provided a more comprehensive understanding of the entire work process in a WIEGEL hot-dip galvanising plant.
The anniversary was an all-round successful event that impressively demonstrated the strong team spirit and close cooperation at the Trusetal site and within the WIEGEL Group. With this solid foundation of partnerships and co-operation, the site can look optimistically to the coming years and to further positive developments.
