Nuremberg – Over two days, 21 trainees from the WIEGEL Group and their six trainers came together in Franconia to get to know the company and its processes even better.
On the first day, the programme included a visit to the WIEGEL administration in Nuremberg, where the trainees were introduced to the various business divisions. The trainees then travelled to Bamberg, where they explored the sights of the World Heritage city on a city rally. The day was rounded off with an Italian dinner.
The second day was all about practical experience: In Höchstadt, the trainees were able to learn about the powder coating process and try it out for themselves. Plant manager Taşkin Ağcioğlu gave a guided tour of the plant and provided valuable insights. The tour then continued to the hot-dip galvanising plant in Höchstadt, where plant manager Reinhold Taut explained the entire hot-dip galvanising process to the trainees.
The two-day event ended after a shared lunch – the trainees returned to their daily training routine with new experiences and impressions.
