Denkendorf – What began as a nightmare has become a powerful symbol of courage, unity, and determination: After a devastating fire in August 2023, our hot-dip galvanizing plant in Denkendorf stands stronger today than ever before.
On a night full of challenges, there was no hesitation – only action: WIEGEL made the bold decision to invest and rebuild. Just twelve months later, the new plant was ready for operation. A milestone we proudly celebrated in May 2025 with over 300 guests from politics, business, and our dedicated team.
An unforgettable day: heartfelt speeches, top-class music, culinary highlights with show waiters, and a surprise flash mob created a festive atmosphere. The emotional highlight: the symbolic galvanizing of a phoenix – a powerful symbol of our impressive new beginning.
A moment of recognition: the State Firefighters Association honored WIEGEL with a special award – a strong sign of our close ties to the region.
