Parey / Stendal – From August 30 to September 1, 2024, the Saxony-Anhalt Day will take place for the 23rd time. Our electricity grid pylon expert WIEGEL Parey will also be there for this important event.

This year, the hanseatic city of Stendal is hosting the Saxony-Anhalt Day, which also coincides with the 1,000th anniversary of Stendal’s first official mention. “We are delighted to be able to represent WIEGEL as an attractive employer and committed training company at the Saxony-Anhalt Day,” says Dr. Birgit Postrach, Commercial Director and HR Management at WIEGEL Parey. On the three days of the event, four colleagues will represent WIEGEL Parey at the job and business mile from the HR and training department as well as four trainees.

Pioneering pilot project with power grid pylons made from recycled steel

At its own stand, our expert in power grid pylon construction will be showing visitors the impressive projects that WIEGEL Parey has completed for major grid providers in Germany. These include the new trend-setting pilot project with power grid poles made of recycled steel, which enables CO2 savings of up to 75 percent per pole.
