On 16 October 2024, WIEGEL Managing Director Matthias Götz and Division Manager Vladimir Duchtik had the honour of representing WIEGEL Hradec Králové as sponsors of this year’s conference of the Czech and Slovakian Hot Dip Galvanising Association.

A special highlight of the evening was Taros Nova’s award for the best galvanised structure, the impressive Sky Bridge 721, the longest self-supporting pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. The bridge is located in Dolni Morava in the Czech Republic and has already won the European Bridge Award and the Global Galvanising Award. It was galvanised in parts by WIEGEL. A great success for everyone involved.
