Lauchhammer – On September 7, 2024, the WIEGEL Lauchhammer hot-dip galvanizing site celebrated its 30th anniversary. For three decades, this site has made a significant contribution to the protection of steel structures in various industries. It´s also a central component of the WIEGEL Group.

Plant manager Frank Hänsch opened the celebrations with an introductory speech. Alexander Hofmann, owner and board member of the WIEGEL Group, then spoke about the developments of recent years and the ongoing success story of the group of companies. Mirko Buhr, the mayor of Lauchhammer, emphasized in his speech the important role of the WIEGEL site for the town and the region.

The event offered guests a varied program accompanied by live music. An extensive lunch buffet and a sumptuous cake buffet contributed to the relaxed atmosphere and facilitated stimulating discussions among those present.

The day offered not only a review of the successes of the past years, but also a look ahead to future challenges and opportunities. Special tribute was paid to the dedicated employees, whose expertise and commitment have contributed significantly to the success of the site.
