WIEGEL Kittlitz Celebrates 30th Anniversary

On August 30, 2025, the WIEGEL Kittlitz site celebrated its 30th anniversary. Over the past three decades, the plant has developed into a reliable partner in corrosion protection and has since played a decisive role in shaping the industrial landscape of the region.

The celebrations began with a welcome from Plant Manager Jaqueline Schlesinger, who, together with Harald Füchtenbusch, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the WIEGEL Group, looked back on the site’s development and its importance for the region.

A joint lunch then provided space for personal exchange in a pleasant atmosphere. A special highlight was the live galvanizing demonstration, where visitors could experience the hot-dip galvanizing process firsthand. Many guests also took the opportunity to tour the plant and learn more about the local operations.

Special program highlights included a custom-designed WIEGEL cake and a basketball shooting competition, where the best participants were awarded small prizes. The day was marked by good conversations, valuable encounters, and a positive atmosphere. With this event, WIEGEL Kittlitz lays the foundation for continued successful development in the years to come.
