TKS and WIEGEL Parey at the Corporate Relay Race in Magdeburg

With several teams, the colleagues took on the sporting challenge and represented the WIEGEL Group with great commitment outside their everyday working environment. TKS entered the race with the “Fast-Site” team. WIEGEL Parey (WRS) was represented by the teams “Stahlstrebensprinter” and “Spannungsspitzensportler”.

The Saxony-Anhalt Corporate Relay Race is one of the largest running events in the federal state. In the classic relay format, teams of five compete over a distance of five times three kilometres. In 2026, around 1,200 teams with a total of approximately 6,000 runners from around 400 companies took part.

A Strong Team Performance on the Course

Tobias Karbe, Karl Gaus, René Angerer, Amjad Jan Brohi and Konstantin Aleksandrov competed for TKS as part of the “Fast-Site” team. With great commitment, endurance and mutual support, the team delivered a strong and united performance.

The two WRS teams also impressed with their motivation, team spirit and enthusiasm for the shared competition.

Strong Together – at Work and in Sport

As a company of the WIEGEL Group, WIEGEL Parey operates at the Redekin and Parey sites and manufactures high-quality steel lattice towers for energy supply, wind power, telecommunications and infrastructure.

Within the WIEGEL Group, TKS specialises in telecommunications construction and offers services including planning, development, authority management, production and the installation of telecommunications structures.

Alongside the sporting competition, the shared experience was the main focus of the event. The Corporate Relay Race provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen the bond between colleagues, cheer each other on and become active together as a team.

Special thanks go to all runners for their sporting commitment, as well as to all colleagues who supported and cheered on the teams on site. Their encouragement created a fantastic atmosphere and contributed to a successful joint appearance by the WIEGEL Group.
