Unterwössen – The WIEGEL subsidiary TKS is currently realising the construction of another mobile phone mast in the alpine region near Unterwössen in Bavaria. This mast will further expand Deutsche Telekom’s mobile phone coverage and improve network coverage in the region.

Under the construction management of Markus Herler, the massive foundation with a total weight of 250 tonnes is currently being erected. A special highlight of this project awaits in mid-November: the mobile phone mast will be installed using a helicopter. This unusual installation in terrain that is difficult to access places high demands on the logistics and the technologies used.

The client for the project is Deutsche Funkturm (DFMG), which, as part of Deutsche Telekom, is responsible for the expansion of the infrastructure. We are delighted to be making a joint contribution to the digital networking of this region.
