Nuremberg – Our apprentice Marina Reisch has been honoured by the Nuremberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Middle Franconia as part of the ‘Apprentice of the Month’ campaign for August 2024. This special project of the IHK offers training companies the opportunity to nominate trainees who stand out for their extraordinary commitment during their training. The jury, consisting of members of the Vocational Training Committee, trainees and representatives of the IHK, selects a ‘Trainee of the Month’ every month.
A role model for initiative and determination
Marina Reisch is 37 years old and has deliberately opted for an unconventional path: The trained retail saleswoman and single mother of two sons aged 9 and 16 started a full-time commercial apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in September 2023. Her path is remarkable, as Mrs Reisch has decided to reorient herself professionally despite financial and time challenges. Her declared goal is a permanent position as an accountant in financial accounting.
With an unshakeable will and the demand on herself to constantly learn and develop, Mrs Reisch shows that it is never too late to break new ground. Her focus on personal development and her conscientious, reliable manner are inspiring – for us as a training company and for many others who may have to overcome similar hurdles.
Personal recognition: Stefan Kastner congratulates Marina Reisch on site
Stefan Kastner, Head of the Vocational Training Division and responsible for the ‘Trainee of the Month’ project at the Nuremberg Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Middle Franconia, took the opportunity to visit Marina Reisch in person at the Wiegel administration centre in Nuremberg. He honoured her commitment and congratulated her on her well-deserved award.
An inspiring example of further training and determination
Marina Reisch is a wonderful example of how the pursuit of knowledge and professional growth knows no age limit. Her story motivates us all and we are sure that Mrs Reisch will master her training with flying colours and continue her career path successfully. We would like to congratulate Marina Reisch on this well-deserved honour and wish her continued success in her career!

Marina Reisch is delighted to receive the IHK Nuremberg for Middle Franconia’s Apprentice of the Month award.
