Managers of the WIEGEL Group meet for the 2026 strategy review in Straubing

The event focused on current developments, challenges and future prospects in the industry. In specialist presentations and practice-oriented discussions, particular attention was given to the topics of hot-dip galvanizing and coating. Both areas have been among the WIEGEL Group’s core competencies for decades and are continuously being further developed.

Insights into the new WIEGEL plant in Plattling

A special item on the agenda was the visit to the nearby WIEGEL plant in Plattling. There, participants gained direct insights into the plant, which opened in January. On site, they were able to see the modern facilities, production processes and future prospects of the new location first-hand.

In addition to the specialist content, the strategy review offered an opportunity to share experiences from the various locations, sharpen common goals and set important courses for the future.
