Groundbreaking Ceremony for the New Headquarters of the WIEGEL Group in Nuremberg

Nuremberg – With the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony on April 28, the WIEGEL Group officially launched the construction of its new headquarters in the northern part of Nuremberg.

Over the coming months, a modern office and laboratory building will be constructed on Hintere Dorfäckerstraße. The new facility will meet the future requirements of the group and send a clear signal of growth and long-term prospects.

In bright sunshine, more than 70 guests, employees, and representatives of the project partners gathered to celebrate this special milestone together. The start of construction marks another important step in the development of the WIEGEL Group and underlines its long-term commitment to the Nuremberg location.

Modern Headquarters with a Sustainable Concept

The new headquarters building is being developed together with long-standing partner IMVEO. Peter Gross Bau is responsible for the implementation of the project as the general contractor. A modern and sustainable office and laboratory building is planned, including a photovoltaic system.

With the new building, the WIEGEL Group is creating modern working and development spaces for its administrative employees while also strengthening the foundation for future growth.

Symbolic Start with a Special Detail

The official starting signal for the construction project was given by the Supervisory Board and the Management Board together with the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony. It became clear that the new building not only represents structural development, but above all the people behind the WIEGEL Group.

A special highlight of the day was a custom-made solid zinc cube. The names of all employees of the Nuremberg administration were engraved on it – a lasting symbol of unity, appreciation, and a shared future.
