In this webinar, participants will learn how hot-dip galvanized steel can, under certain conditions, meet the fire protection requirement “R30” – meaning a fire resistance duration of 30 minutes. This is verified through a fire design (thermal analysis) of the structural framework to ensure compliance with the requirement.

Compared to conventional fire protection methods, such as fire-resistant coatings, hot-dip galvanizing offers significant advantages. These include not only cost savings but also lower long-term maintenance expenses.
