Apprenticeship at WIEGEL Parey: Technology, Practice and Prospects
Redekin – Metal, technology and real craftsmanship: Anyone starting an apprenticeship at WIEGEL Parey learns not only the theoretical basics, but also works step by step on real steel structures.
Whether welding, assembly, flame cutting, sheet metal processing or working with cranes – apprentices are introduced to demanding tasks in a practical and hands-on way.
Working on infrastructure that is needed
At WIEGEL Parey, lattice towers and components for substations are produced, among other things. In this way, our employees make an important contribution to infrastructure and energy supply in Germany. An apprenticeship at WIEGEL therefore means understanding technology, taking responsibility and contributing to projects that are truly needed.
Niclas, Mathias and Jonas show just how varied the apprenticeship is in three short practical insights. Niclas is completing his apprenticeship as a construction mechanic and explains how he is gradually growing into the profession. Mathias is a shift supervisor, has been with WIEGEL Parey for more than 19 years and explains what matters in training and everyday working life. Jonas has successfully completed his apprenticeship as a metal technology specialist and shows the prospects that can result from it.
Good support and strong prospects
For us, it is not only the professional training that matters. Our trainers and managers support young talents in their day-to-day work, answer questions and help them develop both personally and professionally. Those who show commitment and successfully complete their apprenticeship have very good chances of being taken on by WIEGEL in a future-oriented and system-relevant industry.
