WIEGEL Expands Wet Coating Facility in Velké Meziříčí
Velké Meziříčí – One of the most modern corrosion protection centers in the Czech Republic is currently taking shape. With the expansion of the wet coating facility directly next to the existing hot-dip galvanizing plant, WIEGEL is strategically strengthening the site for high-quality duplex coating systems.
By combining hot-dip galvanizing and wet coating at a single location, WIEGEL will soon offer an even more efficient corrosion protection solution from one source. The expansion creates additional capacities, shortens transport routes, and enables more flexible implementation of customer projects.
After completion of the modernization, up to 100,000 square meters per year can be coated in Velké Meziříčí. The focus will be particularly on serial products and the efficient processing of recurring customer requirements. An important part of the expanded coating facility is a modern drying technology for water-based paints after the coating process. In addition, the possibilities for material handling and storage within the hall are being further expanded.
