Expansion in Feuchtwangen: New wet coating facility and new jobs

The facility is designed for steel components up to 14 metres in length and has a planned capacity of up to 400,000 square metres of coated steel surface per year. “This will make us the most capable wet coating centre in Germany,” says Holger Wiedermann, Head of Coating at WIEGEL.

Expansion of wet coating in Feuchtwangen

With the new facility, WIEGEL is expanding its capabilities in the areas of wet coating and corrosion protection at the Feuchtwangen site. Wet coatings are used in particular where steel components are required not only to provide reliable corrosion protection but also to meet defined requirements in terms of colour and surface finish. While the technical installation is increasingly taking shape, the team that will operate it in the future is also being built.

More than 30 new jobs at WIEGEL in Feuchtwangen

For the construction and future operation of the new area, WIEGEL is looking for more than 30 new colleagues in Feuchtwangen. New employees will have the opportunity to become familiar with the facility from the very beginning, support its installation and help shape a new team together. WIEGEL is looking for people who want to take on responsibility and are interested in developing structures and processes together in a new production environment.
