Anna and the WIEGELIANER: WIEGEL Scrabble – Part 1

Redekin – As part of the Reel series “Anna and the WIEGELIANER,” WIEGEL provides insights into production at the Redekin site (Sachsen-Anhalt). Among other things, steel lattice towers for power lines as well as other steel structures are manufactured there.

WIEGEL Parey has been part of the WIEGEL Group for 30 years. Around 150 employees work in steel construction. Production has been located at the Redekin site for ten years. In Parey, there is a warehouse with an area of 18,000 m². In Redekin, approximately 10,000 tons of steel are permanently in stock.

For the “WIEGEL Scrabble” project, large WIEGEL letters with ground anchors are currently being manufactured. Before the letters can be installed outdoors, they receive corrosion protection. In the second part of the series, the hot-dip galvanizing process at WIEGEL Trusetal will be presented.
