Ground-breaking ceremony for the new WIEGEL site in Plattling
Plattling – The building site in the industrial area of Plattling measures over 15,000 square metres. A new state-of-the-art hot-dip galvanising plant of the WIEGEL Group is being built here.
The ground-breaking ceremony on 22 November 2024 marked the official start of the construction work. WIEGEL Managing Directors Harald Füchtenbusch and Matthias Götz were joined by Plattling’s Mayor Hans Schmalhofer, Plant Manager Helmut Wastian and representatives of the responsible project planning and construction company.
The new plant will fulfil the latest environmental requirements in accordance with WIEGEL’s high sustainability standards.
